The Valley View Church of Christ youth education ministry exists to mod our children into the likeness of Jesus. We strive to help our students attain a maturity in Christ, thereby enabling them to grow into effective Christians who know God’s Word and have a desire to serve and minister to the needs of others.

Our ministry utilizes a variety of learning techniques to instill faith and values into the lives of our children. Our desire is to always make practical and relevant applications of scripture to the youth of this generation. We also encourage our youth, as they grow into adult, to follow the path of Jesus as described in the scriptures.

Luke 2:52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and men.

SonBeams

Valley View’s Children’s Ministry is called “SonBeams”. It is comprised of 4 age groups; Fireflies – infants to kindergarten, Sparklers 1st & 2nd grade, Shooting Stars 3rd & 4th grade, AREA 56 5th & 6th grade. We have activities and classes year round for each age group. Come and join us for our Children’s Bible Hour on Sunday evenings or check out our F.B.I. (Faithful Bible Investigators) class. We strive to involve kids of all ages and their families in meaningful and fun events such as Trunk or Treat, cookout devotionals, Valley View Youth Camp, Lock-Ins, etc. Valley View is a place for you and your children to learn, grow in knowledge of God’s word, and have fun in fellowship with other Christian families.

Teenagers

The Valley View youth ministry exists to assist teens in developing a relationship with Jesus Christ, and to equip them with the tools necessary to impact the world. We believe every teenage disciple is expected to mature in their walk and find their own place within God’s family. Much of this growth is seen in a student’s increasing level of sacrificial service and authentic interaction with people. The Valley View youth ministry provides opportunities for students to discover their own importance in the Body of Christ, as well as the joy that comes with pursuing a lifestyle of service.
